And according to a fashion expert, celebs are the ones to blame.
Sales of the sexy pant are down by 20 per cent as women swap their G-string for something altogether more comfortable.
And Angela Buttolph, presenter of new BBC show A Week Of Dressing Dangerously, reckons celebs have played a part in the fall in sales.
She told the Daily Mail: "You do associate them with Britney past her prime, Jordan and Paris Hilton, none of whom is particularly classy."
